Toku’s mission is to help companies engage with their customers efficiently. We have helped companies move all the voice communications to the cloud and recently embarked on creating products that help companies keep engaging with their customers no matter where their employees are working from.

Toku is currently getting into a scale-up mode. We want to continue creating momentum for our products in the APAC regions and helping customers with their communications needs. As we build the Carrier Services foundation, we are looking for an experienced Procurement Specialist (A2P/Voice) that has autonomy to make critical decisions, combining their interpersonal and technical skills to become an integral part of Toku’s product team. What would you be doing?

  • Negotiate and analyse procurement demand in market, achieve objectives of procurement cost control and developing contracts with external suppliers with a focus on telecommunications and related services.
  • Independently carry out important commercial negotiations, tendering, supplier certification and review.
  • Perform important project tendering and selection of suppliers.
  • Perform supplier analysis, demand analysis and cost analysis.
  • Responsible for project purchasing program.
  • Identify risks from the on-changing global procurement environment, set up and implement anti-risk system, to keep supply consistently.
  • Institutionalize the Supplier.      
  • Performance Evaluation System to ensure continuous improvement programs are developed with all key suppliers.
  • Organize periodically communications session with suppliers according to the categorization management and build good relationship with suppliers.

Job requirements

We would love to hear from you if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication/ Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in procurement business process in telecommunication.
  • Experience in contract analysis, negotiation, business analysis and contract management
  • Strong networking, presentation, time management and deal making skills
  • Strong company and market awareness.
  • Familiar with laws, finance, trade and taxation.
  • Occasional traveling is required.
