Toku’s mission is to help companies engage with their customers efficiently. We have helped companies move all the voice communications to the cloud and recently embarked on creating products that help companies keep engaging with their customers no matter where their employees are working from.

Toku is currently getting into a scale-up mode. We want to continue creating momentum for our products in the APAC regions and helping customers with their communications needs. As we build our foundation, we are looking for an experienced Q/A Engineer that has the capability to improve our software development process, and ensuring there are no defects in our products. What will you be doing?

You will report to our Team Lead Software Development. As Q/A Engineer, you will be responsible for the development and execution of tests to identify issues related with software quality before the product launch.

The Q/A Engineer plays a vital role in Toku’s product development process. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting tests before product launches to ensure the software are running smoothly and addresses client needs, all while remaining cost-effective. If you hold a computer science/engineering background, and enjoy providing end-to-end solutions to software quality problems, we’d be happy to meet and learn more about you.

  • Reviewing quality specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedbacks.
  • Creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  • Estimating, prioritizing, planning, and coordinating quality testing activities.
  • Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open-source tools.
  • Identify and document bugs identified in testing phase.
  • Conduct regression testing after bugs are resolved.
  • Monitor debugging process results.
  • Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies.

Job requirements

We would love to hear from you if you have:

  • At least 3 years of work experience in software development and/or software quality assurance.
  • Strong technical knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.
  • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Has excellent interpersonal skills, with strong written and oral communication abilities in English (additional Asian languages would be a great bonus).
  • Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related subject.
